That setting with a 6 ct. Asha cushion would be my dream ring. Well, you know, one of my dream rings. It will be the one I dream of tonight, for sure!
LOL Cyn! If only we had as many dollars as dreams!

Yes, or the good sense to stick with just one dream. <img src=''http://talk.jewelry/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/graemlins/default/crazy.gif'' alt='''' /> But noooo-ooooo, there's always the next dream waiting to be fulfilled. Yeah, and when you're in the middle of that project, wham-o another dream smacks you right between the eyeballs. I could use 300 fingers and 30 dump-truck loads of $100.00 dollar bills. <img src=''http://talk.jewelry/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/graemlins/default/bugeyes.gif'' alt='''' />

MrsFrk you berat me to posting the specs!

Please don't think this is jealousy talking (because it isn't), but that stone looks fake to me. Not because its so big, but because of the amount of colored light returned. Not that that's a BAD thing because I love colored light...the stone just looks really fake.

The table facet doesn't look that sharp either. I'd take a honkin' Jubilee in lightest yellow over that cushion anyday!

But that setting is absolutely STUNNING!!!!! <img src=''http://talk.jewelry/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/graemlins/default/love.gif'' alt='''' /> <img src=''http://talk.jewelry/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/graemlins/default/drool.png'' alt='''' /> <img src=''http://talk.jewelry/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/graemlins/default/love.gif'' alt='''' />

That's a ring from someone at Pricescope. It's a 5.96 carat D/VS2 in a custom setting. It is divine!!!
I suspect that this ring is STUNNING in person! You can see in the photos that there is some low grade camera work going on. It is blurry, and if you look at the larger picture - middle lower left area of shadow - you can really see how "pixelated" it is. If that were a higher quality photo and had sharper focus, I think it would SCREAM to us! WOW..... If a bad photo looks great, I bet that stone rocks in real life!

The cut looks lopsided? Or is it just me that's lopsided? Thank God my fingers still work.

Must get "The Artemis Project" done first, then on to this next dream. (Cyn's feeble attempt to talk herself into sticking with one dream at a time. )
I see what you mean how 'dreams' keep popping up when you least expect it!!

I was thinking that this band (not the basket but the actual band) is what I want for my 10mm. Something very delicate but sparkly and just 4 split prongs to hold the stone in.. what do you think about that???
What point stones are those in the shank do you think?

I'd guess about 1 pt. each. And (of course!) I love your idea! The downside is, it's not going to be as practical for everyday wear as some of the other mountings you've posted with the pave' or sidestones just on the top of the shank.
