Does Winfield's still make their czs?

Does Winfield's still make their czs? I heard they aren't. Does anyone know why? Darn, they were awesome!

What are people buying instead, that is a decent price?

I'm looking for something in a light (maybe dark, too) yellow and sapphire blue. Something that holds up well and had dispersion.

Thanks!

Because Wink quit selling CZs I ordered from diamondCZ for the first time recently. They are beautiful stones, too
Are they as beautiful as Interlaps? (Maybe they are Interlaps, idk).

I am curious as to why Wink quit selling cz???
Because Interlap stopped producing them. But Wink still has some in stock, he didn't stop selling them.

I heard that it is because his cutter retired so he doesn't have anyone good to cut the stones to their specifications. I second diamondcz.co.uk. I have bought from them many times. Super cheap. Some stones are amazing and some aren't depending on the cut style. But definitely worth a look.

We have not quit selling WinkCZs. We still have a large selection of colorless, RG, Chinese, and heat enhanced white stones, but the fancy colors are seriously dwindling. Our cutter retired two years ago, and we have tested out several (like 8) other potential new cutters, but not one of them were able to do the fancy shapes the same as Interlap. So we are selling what remains (quite a few), and we have created our new amorabridal.com page, which is geared towards the Amora Gem. We are still in business, and have no intentions of closing down any time soon. We are still doing custom designs, as well as pieces from Stuller, Adwar, Ingwer, Vatche, etc.

Thanks for the clarification! I really hope you find a new cutter for cz, the Interlaps were amazing!! I sold a ring with a large WinkCZ EC and traps that got lost in the mail even with tracking (ARGH!), and I have regretted letting it go ever since. Once you sell off the remaining CZ, is that it? No more CZ?

Sorry for the double pic!
I have several of his stones including a stunning tanzanite. They are all lovely

I have two oval stones coming from diamondcz and one coming from Thailand. Two are 6A and one is 5A. I'll let you all know what I think of them once they're all here. I also have a high powered loupe coming so I can check them all out under high magnification as well. I paid less than $100 for everything

We did not quit selling CZs. We are selling what we have in stock and can no longer order custom cuts because our cutter retired. We are still doing custom designs, jewelry repairs, and all the findings we've always done. We are using more Amora center stones in our rings, and we have even created a new website, AmoraBridal.com. WinkCZ is indeed still up and running, and we are still selling CZs.

We may still have what you need. Email us and let us know what size and shape you are looking for as we still have quite a collection of light and canary yellow stones.
