Diamonna?

I know this is super annoying but could you take a video of both the Amora and DiaMonna together?

Thanks for the comparisons and congratulations!

They all look great but I am so happy I went with the DiaMonna :)

Sorry, Catterie. I only have one pick up tool so I won't be able to take it side to side. I tried to set them down, but it's a bit difficult to get focus on both gems.

Hi all,

Been following the boards and have a question.

I bought an e ring for my wife years ago and it was from quorri.

It is a terrible quality stone. Yes it was sparkly to start but I've had it serviced or bring back sparkle and now it's embarrassing.

My question is, I am looking at getting a diamonna in a round brilliant hopefully in 7.5 mm.

Would this be big upgrade?

Thanks in advance

H&A stones are really fabulous,would recommend H&A[/QUOTE

I am also looking at these options as well. Looking at a 7.25-7.5mm round brilliant that can someh at pass as a diamond. I'm one of those people that got ripped off by quorri and looking for some sort of substitute that isn't a cz

Hey Teedub,

I personally think buying a Diamonna is worth it. I recently got engaged and was wearing my Diamonna when I saw my family for Thanksgiving. One of the women in my family is also engaged so I got another chance at comparing a diamond to my stone. There is nothing poor quality about the Diamonna stone. The cut and optics of my stone are spot on. My family wouldn't believe that it wasn't a diamond in my E-ring :)

I can't really speak about a Quorri stone as I've never seen one. I also haven't had my Diamonna for very long either so I cannot speak for the longevity of the stone (I am not worried as my jeweler knows how to clean SiC gems). If you are interested in Diamonna, you ought to give Ron Hansen a call or better yet, go visit his showroom in Ashland, Oregon. Anyway, thats my $0.02, hope it helps!

Would love to see a pic of your finished e-ring! If you don't mind!

Hey there thanks for that. I've been talking with ron for the past few days to redo the e ring setting and adding a 1.67 into the setting.

Anyone else have a diamonna? I don't have a chance to go to Portland to check it out.

Cheers teedub

SO pretty!!! Congrats! Have you noticed any weird lightings with the Diammona? (the AG did this white out fuzzy look sometimes, very odd)
I honestly haven't noticed that. I think that the pictures I took aren't all in focus so its hard for me to show you that its not fuzzy to my eye. If you're talking about the double refractivity it does have that because its SiC but seeing more color and light returned is a plus for me. I am not sure I helped answer your question lol, all I know is that I am OBSESSED with my e-ring and so happy with it and my fiance. ^^

FINALLY I can talk. I have been roaming around for a while. Just got my account unlocked.

Anywho, I am leaning towards this gem since AG is sold out.
9MM is priced nicely compared to a mined diamond.

Does any info exist if it loses clarity after a few years like a mosinate?

Hi welcome to the boards!

Moissanite does not not cloud over time. The Diamonna is moissanite, so no it will not cloud over time. Diamonna and Neo moissanite I believe are the only two moissanites with warrantees at this point in time. The warrantee covers basically anything that could happen to the stone, including clouding over time (even though it shouldn't), so even though the stone shouldn't cloud it's nice to know you have a warrantee!
