I don't know if anyone else has seen this, but there is a "consumer guides web" article that purports to be an independent review of "all lab diamond sites".
The article laments the amount of deceptive advertising, then goes on to give 'editors choice' award to diamond nexus labs for the best 'lab diamond' value.
It was so obviously deceptive and slanted, that I did a quick bit of domain ownership and found that "consumerreviewsweb.com" is owned by diamondnexus labs...what a suprise. (just look up both at www.whois.sc, both are listed with the same ownership address).
So, they basically created a website, wrote their own article that pretends to be an independent review, and give themselves the top award...while continuing to claim they have the same stuff as gemesis (i.e. real lab grown diamonds).
Anyway, bad enough that they stole a lot of photos from BTD, Diamonds by Lauren and other vendors to use as their own on their site, and they continue to advertise their CZ's as "perfect man-made diamonds", but this stuff is amazing. No ethics whatsoever.
The article is (was) here:

Update: Diamond Nexus has taken down the article (probably didn't like their deceptive article being exposed), however, we made a copy for legal purposes and here is a copy for your viewing:
Copy of ConsumerGuidesWeb page
titled "Beware of Misleading Diamond Simulant Advertising from Unscrupulous Jewelry Vendors" ....yes, like from diamondnexuslabs, a vendor who advertise with phrases like "Perfect man-made diamonds" & "flawless synthetic diamonds".
And then they write an article under a ghost website that talks about how unethical vendors are prowling the web deceptively but highlights themselves for how ethical they are....nice.
Best regards,
