I did notice that SOMETIMES the cut you get dictates how intense a color is. IE.. the canary flanders I had at one time was a deeper yellow than the emerald cut canary yellow that I was sent to photograph. So.... keep that in mind too. But Wink would know better on any individual cut/color questions.
Grigs.. I'm thinking hard on that 9mm Jubilee Sunset. It's just so incredibly pretty and sparkly! But I really don't need it and I fear it would end up in my collection drawer never set. I dunno.. I can't decide.
MrsW, the lightest yellow in these pictures was a smaller 6.5mm Wink sent. The picture may need some adusting as the stone looks just like my 2ct RB and 3ct cushion lightest yellows. It's so hard to get the colors exactly right. <img src=''http://talk.jewelry/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/graemlins/default/tongue.gif'' alt='''' />
You are a gem. You take perfect photos--I am waiting to get three stones to compare---and you have two of the colors photographed here. That helps a lot. I wanted to compare a blue, an aqua, and a lavender. Sheila is waiting for a lavender to return to her, and then she was oging to send me all three.
It's really hard to make a decision--(I want something to take the place of a light blue diamond)---until I can actually save up money and buy one---s-o-m-e-d-a-y.
Ut oh---I went back and looked again, and I got this idea---ouch, steam pouring out of my ears--bells going off, drooling-----------------------------three stone, aqua surrounded by blues? What does anyone else think? Or, maybe the other way around?
I tried to find your number on my messy desk to call you, hopeless. OmiGOSH you take GREAT PHOTOS! Thank you thank you thank you!
If you want to keep that color change and just apply it towards my quilt that would be cool.
Actually, please just keep it as a sincere thank you to you from me for the wonderful photos. I am going to use them on my new freecz.com that is getting ever nearer to being ready to unveil. I could not have gotten finer pictures from a professional and i am so excited with the quality of what you have done.
You are just too awesome and it is my pleasure to gift you this beautiful stone if that is acceptable to you.
I have owned asscher cuts in clear, light yellow, aqua, and pink....all are absolutely breathtaking and I would highly recommend them.
I have owned OEC's in light yellow and clear, and would highly recommend them also.
I've also owned the light yellow round, and light yellow cushion, and they are incredible too!
In the sunset, I have only seen my 8mm cushion so far, and it is by far my favorite color!!! It is one of those you have to see in person to believe. It sparkles like crazy and exhibits goldens, oranges, champagnes, cognacs, and pinks! Everyone should have one of these in their collection!!
