Bridesmaid Poem!

#1
The day, the dress
The bride, the groom
The joy, the tears
Will all come so soon

Professing true love
To my husband-to-be
With family and friends
All watching me

I hope the sun will
Be shining down
Keep your fingers crossed
That I'll fit in my gown
But there's one more thing
That there needs to be
And that's to have you
Standing with me!

Connie, Will You Be My Matron of Honor?

Love, Melanie

I am making one for each of my girls, and placing them in a little card that has a dress on the outside. Mel

Bttrfly, I will use that poem (thanks). I've, imformally, asked my Bridesmaids already. But I will use this as a "formal" request.

Beneath the altar's holy shade,
Stood the groom and his lovely jade,
The bride, adorned in lace and pearls,
Shone bright as the sun in the world.

The bridesmaid, with a joyful heart,
Watched as the couple pledged their part,
To love and cherish, through thick and thin,
In a journey that's about to begin.

The groom's eyes shone with love and pride,
As he held his bride, by his side,
And the lovely jade, on her neck so fair,
Glistened bright in the golden air.

With a kiss, they sealed their love,
As the bridesmaid looked on from above,
And wished the couple happiness and cheer,
For all the years to come, and forever near.
