1 - Statement of problem
2 - Photos of finished item (if applicable)
3 - What steps you took to resolve with vendor
4 - Vendors response
5 - What solution would you prefer the vendor offer at this point.
6 - General comments

This guideline is lame and stupid. In order to post my review, my problem, I need to follow some guidelines. OK

1. I wanted to get a full refund on the ring that was never worn and it was with in 30 days.
2. NA
3. I emailed the vendor
4. NO. exchange only
5. Give me full refund
6. Will not buy again.

Yes, these are the guide lines and they have been in effect for quite some time. No one has a problem with it yet.

yep. clearly posted on their website.

Security Tag: The original security tag must still be attached to the unworn item in order for returns to be processed. If the tag has been removed (or if it has been removed and re-attached by the customer) the return policy is voided.
maybe you could try listing the ring on DB? it might be just the thing someone else is looking for?

Yes it does, or it wouldn't be in their policy.

george, looking through your posts you have said they had great cust service... I am, so totally confused. Your feedback is all over the place.
Is this the ring you bought last year to propose with but didn't?

Why don't you just put it up on the bistro? I noticed you already asked for the website address in another thread. That could be a good solution.

I did say that because I have purchased more then one item from them in fact I have purchased 4 items. This is the only one that I want to return.

Right, a small Tag makes a difference, yeah OK if you say so.

I am not here to discuss what my options are. I am here to let folks know, that as a customer I am not happy.

Policies are policies. I understand if you aren't happy with item. Bottom line is make sure you are happy before taking the tag off. I'm a retail manager and our company doesn't allow any item to be returned either without the tags. That's their rules and we follow them. AD has the same policy.

You are not happy because you didn't follow their rules and they won't bend over backwards to accommodate you? Is that what you are saying then?

I gave you an option that you can use.If you don't want to, that's ok, but I don't understand why you are even making this post.

A tag does make a difference, if I DO say so, thanks. People aren't likely to use the ring on their finger and go outside the house with a tag on. Without the tag they only have your word as to what you've done with the ring. Unfortunately you didn't keep the tag on. You should be angry with yourself, not with AD. They don't NEED to accommodate you. They probably could, but seeing how you are reacting I would say they won't.

Based on a couple of your posts, it appears you don't like to follow guidelines/rules/policies. Or maybe you don't think they should apply to you?

Several of the members were kind enough to give you a couple of alternatives, but you rudely blew them off.

You've made your point ... Why not let it go?

The guideline is not there because you have to lay out your post point b point like that. Some people do not know how to make a well rounded fair post, especially when angry and they often go into attack mode. The guideline is to help people be fair when dealing with vendors.

I have not been shy about the way I feel about this company however, in this situation you are wrong. It is the same as a clothing store not accepting returns with the tags off. Were you unaware that this was their policy? Your original post lacks anyhing of substance and really just looks like you want to gripe.

Not to mention, I had a really bad experience with moissco but I would never come in here and put them in the "avoid this online vendor" section. This is where they get the majority of their business and you are not going to convince people not to buy from them because you didn't follow instructions.

How would they know if the ring was worn or not if the tag is removed?

I know it might seem tacky to propose or gift a ring that has a tag attached but if one is not 1000% sure of keeping the ring then best to leave that tag on. That is the risk you take by removing it.

Since you have liked other things from them maybe you will use the exchange or credit for something else?

I agree, terrible return policy! I've purchased tons of things online, including real gems, and never had this sort of policy for a stock item - I will NEVER buy from them or their sister company again.

Most of the time when people are angry bc they are unable to follow something simple, they are really angry with themselves.

Ive taken tags off and then figured out I could only return the product with the tag on. My mistake and Ive learned from it and consider myself a smarter consumer
...But I was mad - at myself!
