@diamondangel I saved this inspiration photo of a ring you had made about a million years ago. :) I'd love to know where this Tiff cathedral-style shank can be purchased (if it's even still made). If anyone else knows a vendor who sells this, please do chime in!

    Here's the inspiration photo:

Oh, we can still make that ring! It's a Solstice head with another company's shank, and the center stone is a 9mm Asha. Send me an email with your finger size, how wide you'd like the shank, and a size for the center so I know what size head you need.

Here's another option, a slightly different configuration and a smaller stone, just for reference:

set with a 7.60mm Amora Gem, in palladium, ring size 5.75

I reset my 1.5ct Amora enhanced moissantie into a similar setting from MoCo. It's 14k yellow gold with a four prong platinum head. I know this setting as the Roseco cathedral setting - link to their site:

Roseco Store - Cathedral Round 4-Prong 2.5mm Half-Round Ring and, of course, any peg head can be added. Here's a freakishly large picture of mine:

ETA - the shank comes in a variety of widths up to 4 mm - mine is the 3mm.

Thanks, DA! I'm actually working with a local, physical bench for a change! :D

This. Is. Perfect.!!! I adore this combination and very sadly, it's not available in yellow gold/white head in the 2.5mm band width. Otherwise, I'd have purchased it from BTD in a heartbeat.

Thanks so much, @mmascall Your set is beautiful! Due to having shorter fingers and wanting to make a sparklie "sammich", I'm going with the 2.5 mm width. I love the freakishly large pic—get to see aaaall the details! :D

It's such a great setting! Really shows off the stone, and is so comfortable to wear. BONUS: Flush fit with bands!
