Hi everyone! I bought a SUV and when I was playing around checking out all the bells and whistles I found a ring. The ring is gold (toned) with 4 sapphires and 3 diamonds (half eternity style) inside the band is a heart with the initials Pd. I have searched all over the place to identify the mark and am coming up empty. Whether it's real or not makes no difference as I like the ring because my birthstone is sapphire and my son's is diamond. Just looking to see if anyone can help. I've looked at all the pages on palladium and, yes, it can turn gold toned because of chemical reaction etc. the ring is obviously silver-toned under the gold tone because of "pressure points" being cleaner and worn so...there you go...any information I can get would be so great!!! Thanks in advance!!

I'm not sure about the heart, but I think that the Pd stamp usually indicates that the metal is palladium. I have a few pieces that have a "Pd" for palladium.
