Hello, I'm looking to create a ring using a crystal (probably bismuth or rutilated quartz, as I really like the look of them). I can't find any rings I like, as most use giant crystals on tiny rings, and I want a flatter crystal on a band. I've resolved to just set my own crystal In a ring, but I'm new to jewelry, so I don't know where to find a good ring. I'd like a black metal band that I can actually set the crystal into, as opposed to gluing. Also, the crystals I want are all abstractly-shaped, rather than perfectly cut. Is there a site where I can find a nice black band I can set such a crystal into?
I'd really like this ring, so please help. Im new to this, so, if I'm being unclear or anything, sorry, and thanks to any who can help.
