    Hi all,
As noted we purchased 8 different Forever One Moissanite and thought I'd show the result of the cut analysis done on each style (Regular and H&A).

This post will be for the Forever One Moissanite, Regular Round.

Process: The stone was scanned via OGI HD System, and then via Sarin HD system. The Sarin 3D model was then loaded into DiamCalc Pro for final modeling and cut grading.

AGS Cut Grade (2005 AGS standard) - the scale is 0 (Highest) to 10 (worst). The Forever One Moissanite is graded as 10, or lowest cut grade possible on the AGS scale.

Profile view (showing the shallow crown) via model (system always adds faceted girdle b/c it's designed for diamonds...the actual stone is polished girdle):

    And finally ASET view:

I'll post up the model videos for spotlighting and office view shortly.

    Best regards,
    Less

Here's the Forever One Moissanite 3D scan modeled in Spotlighting. The flat top crown results in the stone acting very mirror-like and thus has a high amount of fire/light return under intense lighting (same as diamond will do when cut with a super low crown).
However, the center will remain largely dark due to the mirror-like behaviour.

And Forever One Moissanite in Office lighting. This is where the flat top cut really falls down, as the center becomes overly dark in most lighting scenarios including this one.

All that black in this stone looks kind of cool. LOL!
