I consider myself pretty darn color sensitive and scored a 34. The highest for my age range was something like 1520.

LOL!! I work in the print/graphics industry and had to take this color test when I started my job. In our industry, it shows whether you are able to go do press checks of printed materials. My co worker got a 0!! Almost unheard of.

I scored 25...I never thought I was colour sensitive, though. However, I 'like' warm colours so perhaps its just that colour doesn't 'bother' me. Interesting! I'm reading this right, yes? 25 is considered colour sensitive?

ETA: I'm 38 and the high end was 1520, if that matters. lol

I just got a 4, ya'll. I was so proud, I made a screenshot. LOL But this explains why I'm so picky, I guess? (4 is good right? Or am I confused)

I think we are in the same range. I scored a 35. I thought I personally would do better!!! At least I seem to be on the color-sensitive side of the middle of the scale (if I read the results correctly). [IMG]

O means 0 errors, so the lower the score, the more color sensitive you are. And, statistically women apparently have a broader color sensitivity than men, younger folks statistically better than older folks. Pretty interesting!

@Mom2Dolls, what score is considered 'passing' for your industry to do print checks? I'm guessing those of us in the under 50 errors are still more color-sensitive than average, but no clue where the break down is.

Aww, thanks hon! I reluctantly became a lurker after my work started tracking all the sites we visit. And my phone takes forever to load each thread. *tear*

In our industry, a zero is seeing color perfectly, in a way majority of people do not. Being able to see the dots of color that make up a image, judging the % of color that needs to be added to make that color true. ie- Home depot orange or Coca Cola red.
    I tested at 18.

I got a 4 & in the 30-39 range. Explains why I'm so sensitive with diamond color! [IMG]
