Thank you in advance for any comments. I am thinking of buying this ring which was handmade and is a topaz with a total carat weight of 6ct. It is quite sparkly and in 10ct gold. The vendor is looking for about $330 dollars and I wasn't sure if I was getting ripped off as although I like it, I can see that topaz stones are not very expensive. Any thoughts?[IMG] s-l200.jpg

see if they will take $300 cash for it. If you love it, get it.

I would comparison shop around before I bought anything. Compare prices on a ring similar to that and see what you come up with. Maybe you and the seller can come to an agreement that works for both of you. And yes, topaz is generally lower in price than lets say Aquamarine and is usually treated for color whereas Aquamarine is naturally blue and highly coveted for its natural blue color..
    Hope that helps! ;)
